Niedersachsenstadion (reconstruction) - 45,000 capacity.
The
original Niedersachsenstadion was completed in 1954 and
has been home to the Bundesliga's Hannover 96 since 1959.
The stadium was used for the 1974 World Cup with both Brazil
and Holland playing matches here.
Reconstruction began in March 2003 and the stadium is on
course for completion in April 2005 at an estimated cost
of 64 million Euros.
Getting
to Niedersachsenstadion
The stadium is the home ground of Hannover 96.
Train: take the tram line 3, 7 or 0 towards Wettbergen,
Wallensteinstrasse or Empelde to Waterloo, from there it
is a seven minute walk.
