Stadium of Hamburg (new) - 50,000 capacity.
Inaugurated
for the Germany v Greece international in 2000 the new stadium
was constructed on the site of SV Hamburg's old Volksparkstadion
ground.
The pitch was rotated and the stands completely rebuilt
at an estimated cost of 97 million Euros.
Getting
to Stadion Hamburg
The stadium is the home ground of SV Hamburg. There is a
club shop, cafe and adjoining HSV museum. Tours of the stadium
are available.

Train: S3 or S21 lines to Stellingen (Volksparkstadion)
and take a free shuttle from there. Around 40 minutes from
the city center.
Bus: routes 188 or 286 to Stadionstrasse, or 111 and 187
