Bolton
striker Dean Holdsworth says he wants to see out the
season at The Reebok Stadium and has vowed to give
his all for the club.
Holdsworth
gained his first start of the season in last Saturday's
match with Liverpool and set up the first goal for
Ricardo Gardner. But if Michael Ricketts is available
after knee trouble for Saturday's trip to Arsenal,
then Holdsworth could again find himself warming the
bench.
There had been summer speculation that the former
Wimbledon favourite was on his way out of the club
again, but Holdsworth says he wants to stay.
"I'm not going anywhere for the rest of the season,"
the striker revealed. "I'm going to give it everything
I've got. Who knows what will happen after that but
that's not on my mind.
"I was delighted to see my name on the team sheet
against Liverpool. I really enjoyed most of the game
and getting 90 minutes under my belt.
"I love playing at the Reebok and there's never
been a case of me not loving it."
