Everton intend resuming victory
Sat 14th December 2002, 18:07

After some surprising victorious downfall Everton are bound to take it at all cost to resume their winning streak as stated by boss David Moyes.

Everton loss to both Newcastle and Chelsea and the one that broke the myth was against Chelsea, which they lost by 4-1 hence they dropped to fifth in the table.

In all of these consecutive matches, Everton were dropped to ten men and the most woeful issue is that gangling defender Joseph Yobo was involved.

The Nigerian international was sent off in Everton’s loss to Newcastle.

Anotherplayer David Usworth was given a red card in the match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and with all plans to appeal against the card, the referee refused to rescind it.

Though Moyes is confident with his players and he is optimistic as they host Blackburn Rovers this weekend.
