Rebrov Put Up For Sale
Mon 11th November 2002, 18:51

Tottenham striker Sergei Rebrov has been put on the transfer list, according to his agent.

The Ukrainian was a record signing for Spurs in June 2000. The London club paid 12 million for the former Dynamo Kiev player.

Rebrov has scored 1 goal in 30 appearances last season and under current manager Glenn Hoddle he has become a fifth striker behind the lights of Sheringham, Keane, Ferdinand and Iverson.

"Sergei wants to stay in western Europe and there are teams interested in him, including some in England," his agent Sandor Varga told the London Evening Standard newspaper.

"Sergei is fit and okay but Spurs have put him on the transfer list. They are not keen on him as a player."
