Wigan stun Manchester City with a fantastic 1-0 win. Also Manchester United, Preston and Rotherham getting wins.

Neil Roberts scored the goal, which got Wigan a great win over Manchester City. Wigan did deserve their win after a brilliant performance, which gave Paul Jewell's side the win.

Ali Bernabia's free kick in the 80th minute was the closest city got to a goal. He was denied by a great save by the Wigan goalkeeper Filan.

Manchester United beat first division team Leicester City 2-0 thanks to goals from David Beckham and Youngster Kieron Richardson.

Beckham scored a brilliant penalty after a tough week with security problems with his family. It was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who won the penalty after tumbling over Impey.

Forlan then in the 90th minute set up a good cross, which was headed in by Richardson who scored his first ever-senior goal.

Ricardo Fuller and Eddie Lewis scored the goals for Preston who knocked out Birmingham City. The game took a turn thanks to the sending off Geoff Horsfield after just 27 minutes. Geoff Horsfield was sent off for violent conduct.

Rotherham got a brilliant away win against Wimbledon thanks to goals from Andy Monkhouse,Richard Barker and Alan Lee. Wimbledon did take the lead through Patrick Agyemang but were beaten thanks to a hard comeback from Rotherham.
