Radabe: Lack Of Effort
Mon 4th November 2002, 17:34

Lucas Radabe has accused his Leeds United teammates of a lack of effort.

Leeds United have been in really poor form and are now struggling in the bottom end of the table. Leeds have only drawn two of there last six games.

"It was very disappointing. It hurts and it's embarrassing - I don't know what to say.

"We didn't deserve anything, not the way we played. We didn't create any chances and we looked very disjointed.

"No disrespect to Everton, but I think we can do better - it's up to us.

"We just have to look into ourselves because it’s not working and I can’t put my finger on what’s going wrong.

"But everybody, the whole team has to work hard because we're not working hard enough."

Lucas Radabe was beaten by the flying 17-year-old Wayne Rooney of Everton to give Everton a 1-0 win against Leeds. It was Everton’s first win at Elland road for almost 50 years.
