Veron to miss Madrid's clash
Mon 7th April 2003, 15:00

Manchester United's Argentine international Sebastian Veron has been ruled out of tomorrow's Champions League quarter final clash with Spanish giants Real Madrid owing to injury.

The £28 million midfielder will be out for one month after failing to recover from a knee ligament injury, hence he will miss tomorrow's encounter.

Meanwhile, Phil Neville will also miss the Santiago Bernabeau tie as he serves a one-match ban after picking up his third booking of the competition during their 2-0 defeat at Deportivo.

However, Nicky Butt may return in the centre of the midfield to pair with Roy Keane after been sidelined in the win against Liverpool.
