Hadji eyes Rovers' return
Tue 18th February 2003, 13:16

Aston Villa's Moroccan international player Moustapha Hadji is presently willing to prove his fitness when Villa reserves face Blackburn Rovers at the Bescot Stadium on Tuesday.

Hadji scored twice on Friday as Villa defeated Leicester City 4-1.

However, Hadji's first team return was pruned due to a hamstring injury in December last year; meanwhile, he aims using the Rovers' match to prove his fitness to Graham Taylor.

The 1998 African Footballer of the Year admitted that the game against Leicester was a hard game and he is happy that he didn't feel any pain of injury during the entire ninety minutes of play.
