Powell: Fish was unlucky
Tue 11th February 2003, 14:10

Mark Fish would have grabbed the first of Charlton Athletic's three goals in their weekend's 3-1 away win over Sunderland, but teammate Christ Powell thinks he is unlucky.

Fish just couldn't get the goal to his record after the ball touched up to four players before getting into the net. But the South African made a flopped celebration for the goal.

However, Powell who was surprise at the happening of three own-goal in a match, solely thinks Fish was out of luck to snatch the goal.

Meanwhile, Charlton will be very happy with the win at Sunderland, as they are now on 39 points level with Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur.

Powell further admitted that their present aim is to try as much as possible to qualify for Europe.
