Fowler arrives at Maine Road
Fri 31st January 2003, 12:20

Leeds United striker Robbie Fowler has finally joined Kevin Keegan's Manchester City, two days before February 1 - when the transfer window will be closed.

City chairman David Bernstein was happy with the arrival of Fowler at Maine Road, saying that this is a sign of good things to happen to the club.

Fowler completed his move to City for a £3million fee, and another £3m is expected to be paid when the player has made a number of first-team appearances.

The England international will be ready to make his first debut for City against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
