Fiasco Over Keano Ban

There is serious confusion over Roy Keane's appeal deadline after his five-match ban and £150,000 fine. The FA are in more misery after 24 hours ago chief executive Adam Crozier resigned.
A FA statement presented a view on Roy Keanes Ban.
"At 5.30pm, the Football Association had not received an appeal from Roy Keane regarding the five-match suspension and £150,000 fine brought against the Manchester United player at a disciplinary hearing on Tuesday, October 15.
"Roy Keane had 14 days in which to respond from Friday, October 18, the date on which he was sent official notification of the hearing's findings. Keane's ban is due to start on November 4."
Keane's legal representatives had a letter - dated 25 October - from the FA confirming the player had 14 days from that date to appeal. The letter said it would give Roy Keane until 8 November to make any decision on an appeal.
Sir Alex Ferguson has said he could feature Roy Keane against the game against Bayer Leverkusen in the champions league in two weeks time. If he did decide to appeal he could miss the game against Arsenal at Old Trafford.
