Wilkinson: Plans for Ewood Park collapse

Sunderland manager Howard Wilkinson has admitted that his plans for Saturday's FA Cup fourth round tie at Blackburn Rovers are now in a disconcerted state.
Wilkinson is currently battling to find a fully fit right-back that will face Rovers at Ewood Park.
This is because first-choice Stephen Wright is down with a hamstring injury and he has been left out of the encounter.
Mark Rossiter and Joachim Bjorklund are also out.
Therefore, Wilkinson's quest to reinforce his squad for Saturday's encounter after their last weekend's 2-1 defeat at Everton has now been jeopardised.
Wilkinson told the club's official website that the question at hand is who to select, that can play well in the right back.
"At the moment every right back on the books is injured and Thornton who is a right-sider is struggling. It's a problem," he stressed.
