Bergkamp may face charge from FA
Tue 21st January 2003, 12:57

Arsenal forward Dennis Bergkamp may face a three-match ban following the FA's proclamation to look into the video of the Gunners 3-1 victory over strugglers West Ham.

The Dutch international had a clash with Hammers Lee Bowyer, in what, as seen in replays; seems Bergkamp's arm smacked the face of Bowyer.

The FA recently confirmed that they are on their way to review the video before taking necessary actions.

If Bergkamp is found guilty, he may face a three-match ban.

Bergkamp had previously been fined £5,000 and warned about future conduct by the FA after been charged for stamping on Blackburn defender Nils-Eric Johansson.
