Transfer-listed Alpay set for talks with Villa

Aston Villa central defender Alpay is set to hold talks with the club in a quest to discuss about his career in Villa.

The 29-year-old Turkish international has been listed among the players in the transfer directory of Villa, and he is to chat about whether to continue in Villa Park or not.

There are chitchats that Alpay admitted that he has the intention of remaining at the club.

Alpay has not been having a square time in Villa, as he has only managed four games this season after been excluded from the plans of manager Graham Taylor.

For the interim, Alpay will meet club chairman Doug Ellis to sort out matters reflecting his career in the club.
