Arsenal Lose But Go Through

Arsenal lost 2-1 away to Borrusia Dortmund but still qualified for the next stages of the champions league. It was Arsenals 4th successive defeat inside 11 days.
It was the French striker Thierry Henry who gave Arsenal the lead after 18 minutes but it was against the run of play.
It was Gilberto Silva the Brazil world cup winner who put the ball in to his own net after Rosicky's shot was glanced into the Arsenal net.
Arsenal lost a 4th defeat in a row it’s been 19 years since they went on a run like this.
Rosicky got the winner from the penalty spot after Jon Koller won the penalty after falling over David Seaman’s challenge.
It meant Dortmund climb to top spot of their group and Arsenal drop to 2nd spot but Arsenal have managed to qualify for the next stages.
Dortmund did hit the woodwork on 2 occasions as Arsenal were being out classed. The Germans did deserve to win the game after a impressive performance.
