Rep of Ireland manager Mick McCarthey has said he has no intention to resign but admits his future is in doubt.
McCarthey revealed on that we was due for talks with the FAI on Tuesday but today said, "I did say I was going to talk to the FAI but it wasn't like I was going to talk to them on Wednesday or Friday,".
It appears he has no intention of leaving of post when he said "He We have a match next month against Greece and I have to discuss things to do with that."
Although after too loses on the bounce he is under increased pressure to resign or bring back former captain Roy Keane which he has made clear will not happen while he is manager.
Its now a waiting game between the FAI and McCarthey as the former central defender would recieve 500,000 compensation from the remaining 18 month of his contract if the FAI were to sack him. The FAI themselves want him to resign to prevent any payout.
