WBA Reject Loan Bid For Dichio
Wed 30th October 2002, 13:04

West Bromwich Albion have rejected a loan bid
From Queens Park Rangers For Danny Dichio.

Danny Dichio who was a former player at QPR has only started a single game this season, which was against Manchester United on the opening day of the season. Since then he has had only 3 sub appearances.

Megson said: 'A Second Division club did ask if they could take Danny for a loan period - but we said no.

'He has been alright for us. In the reserve games he has played in, he has received decent reports.

'None of our strikers are proven at this level. That's the problem we've got. But you can either sit back and hope something drops for you, or you can try and do something about it.'

WBA have only managed to score 8 goals this season and are searching for a partner for Jason Roberts.
