NEWS REPORTS

Kyle injured
Fri 6th December 2002, 15:25

Sunderland's Kevin Kyle has been ruled out from subsequent matches after having a knee injury in their 2-0 Worthington Cup away win to First Division Sheffield United.

Howard Wilkinson admitted that he is not happy with the on growing and aggravating number of injured players in the squad. As recently, the injury list of Sunderland has been a demerit to the progress of the team.

Kevin Kyle has now joined the injury list of the Black Cats, which also include players like Claudio Reyna, Julio Arca, Matt Piper, Jason McAteer, Thomas Myhre and Thomas Sorensen.

Kevin Kyle is now set to miss this weekend Premiership tie for Sunderland.
