Kanu sets to come back
Fri 6th December 2002, 15:24

Arsenal's forward Nwankwo Kanu is set to resume his debut after been sidelined for three weeks due to a knee injury.

The Nigerian international was available in a friendly match for Arsenal, which saw him scoring two goals of their 3-0 win.

The lanky player announced his return after the friendly match that also saw Ray Parlour, Lauren coming back to normal form.

With this development, manager Arsene Wenger will have a lot of choices in the forward as Arsenal tackle bitter rivals Manchester United at Trafford on Saturday.

Kanu has currently scored five Premiership goals for Arsenal and he was voted Arsenal player of the month October before a knee injury ruled him out from subsequent matches.
