Arsenal 3 Aston Villa 1

It was an almost repetition of Thierry Henry's proficiency when Arsenal played battle with Aston Villa in Highbury.
It was just 17 minutes into the game when Arsenal took the league from a strike from Robert Pires.
This resulted to the main competence of the game as Arsenal were forced to some questionable moments; however, Henry made it two in the 49 minute.
In the second half, Aston Villa stopped their embellishments, and after continuous pressure on Arsenal, a goal from Thomas Hitzlsperger made the game 2-1.
Arsenal's manager Arsene Wenger was also an important figure of the game, as he knows he just can't take chances, thereby bringing in Keown for Toure and Ljungberg for Pires.
Just in a short while the Swedish international gave the gunners a penalty after a tackle from Stauton, which saw Arsenal's Champions league hat-trick hero stepping out to take it. Only as a world-class player will do, Henry carefully stuck it into the net to completely mislead the intended direction of Enckelman.
With this deserved win, Arsenal are now four points clear from Liverpool who will tackle rivals, Manchester United on Sunday at Anfield.
