Ridsdale re-elected
Fri 29th November 2002, 18:33

Peter Ridsdale has been re-elected to the Leeds United board after procuring about 98% of the votes from the United's shareholders.

Ridsdale was fired after several protestations from fans due to Leeds United's poor start in the league. However, a majority vote gave him the election ticket.

After the election, Ridsdale admitted that he is on a rescue mission for Leeds United and that Leeds poor position in the league is nothing to go by.

Leeds United yesterday did a goalless draw at Malaga in a UEFA Cup tie and it has been proclaimed that the club is okay with the result.
