Newcastle 1 Inter Milan 4
Thu 28th November 2002, 19:35

Craig Bellamy's dismissal might have been a cause for Newcastle's mess as they fumbled 1-4 to Inter Milan.

Domenico Morfeo's 1st minute strike placed a heap for Newcastle to carry as they were highly disarranged.

It didn't sounds like a joke when Almeyda made it two in the 35th minute and Herman Crespo consequently increasing it to three in the injury time.

Alan Shearer escaped a red card after elbowing Fabio Cannavaro but Craig Bellamy's dismissal seems like a replacement for the consequences.

The second half was better for Newcastle as the game was somehow balanced when the Bobby Robson boys went to business in order to snatch an equaliser.

It was just 18 minutes for the game to climax when Salano sparked in a goal from a good pass from Robert that Bobby Robson a slim hope.

However, a good combination from Dalmat and Recoba saw an accurate short from Recoba past Given to complete enfold up the points.

It was a bad start for the Bobby Robson boys who were surprising recipient of the second phase.
