Babayaro indicts Djorkaeff
Wed 27th November 2002, 19:23

Chelsea’s defender Celestine Babayaro has accused Bolton’s forward Youri Djorkaeff for framing injury in order to get him sent off.

The Nigerian defender was sent of for elbowing Djorkaeff in their club’s 1-1 draw in the Reebok Stadium this weekend.

Babayaro admitted that he didn’t hit Djorkaeff intentionally and the Frenchman decided to frame sign of injury in order to get him sent off.

Despite all odds, Chelsea has asked Bolton for video of the incident in order to precede plans on clearing the defender’s name.

Chelsea are conscious of the fact that if Babayaro is not pardoned, he may miss three crucial matches.
