Bolton 1 Chelsea 1
Sun 24th November 2002, 16:54

Bolton were forced to a 1-1 draw before their home crowds, thanks to Hasselbaink’s late minute strike.

Bolton started the immersion of the two-goal-match with a 64th minute strike from Henrik Pedersen.

With this, the match brought a cacophony of aspirations that saw the creation of a lot of chances.

Warhust was a nightmare for Zola’s crosses and passes. His first try of releasing Gudjohnsen saw Warhust conceding at corner.

Zola kept on pondering Bolton’s defense that also gave birth to a fine picking out of Gallas and Warhust again display awesome defensive qualities with an accurate clearance.

Bolton and Chelsea continued pressing each other in what should be referred to as a little balanced game but Chelsea were damn desperate to equalise.

It sure came to pass when Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink who came in for Jesper Gronkjaer headed home the equaliser from a clean cross from the conscientious Zola.

This is sure a reward for Ranieri’s side after Babayaro was sent off in the 75th minute but Chelsea kept on struggling, they never fumbled.
