Scan results on Desailly’s injury scares Chelsea
Fri 22nd November 2002, 17:15

Chelsea are been jolted by the results of scans on the knee of Frenchman, Marcel Desailly.

The 34-year old defender staggered out of the pitch in France’s 3-o demolition of Yugoslavia to onset fears on Chelsea.

Things might have gotten worse for Chelsea as a recent scan showed that Desailly damaged his ligaments.

Chelsea has kept five successive clean sheets in the Premiership and this has been attributed to their strong defense.

Their defense may appear to be in an obscure state in the absent of skipper, Marcel Desailly.

John Terry is expected to replace Desailly in Chelsea’s upcoming Premiership match.
