Newcastle Alan Shearer has said tonight’s big European game against Dynamo Kiev is the biggest European club game of his career.
Newcastle who last week beat Juventus and now play a tough game against Kiev at St James park and knowing only a win will keep them in the champions league.
Shearer has said the Kiev team aren’t any push over and regards this game as the biggest European game of his career.
Skipper Shearer said: "This is our biggest game. Everything hinges on this result and we know just how tough it is going to be.
"But we really have got the impetus now. We wanted to make certain whatever we did that the trip to Feyenoord in just over two weeks' time would mean something and that we would have something to play for."
But he warned: "We know just how tough it is going to be because there is no doubt in my mind that Kiev are the best team we have played.
"They are so well organised, are typically tough and physical - but don't forget the skill they have.
"This is often overlooked but, from everything I have seen of them, they will make this a real test for us. We know just how much a win would mean to everyone at the club.
