Ljungberg injured

It has been disclosed that Arsenal midfielder Fredrick Ljungberg is suffering from a knee injury after a clash with Tottenham defender Ledley King in Premiership encounter in Highbury on Saturday.

The Arsenal man who was invited in their friendly match between Sweden and Czech Republic has pulled out of the encounter after because of the injury.

Ljungberg who recently won the Swedish player of the year award disclosed that the knee is getting better, but was told to rest by the doctors after certain examinations.

Arsenal will be hoping that Ljungberg’s injury is not serious and if he will be fit in their next Premiership match with Southampton.
