The French Football Association has asked Manchester City to ban striker, Nicholas Anelka for two matches, after refusing to play in a friendly against Yugoslavia.
The French forward refused to turn up despite been invited by Jaques Santini.
Anelka who has won 28 caps for his country didn’t participate in the world cup for France due to the fact that he wasn’t considered by former coach, Roger Lemerre.
The French FA may decide to go to FIFA if their demand is not well thought-out by City.
