Babayaro impresses Ranieri
Tue 19th November 2002, 16:47

Chelsea’s manager, Claudio Ranieri was impressed with the awesome performance of left full back, Celestine Babayaro in their Sunday clash with Middlesbrough.

The Italian tactician earlier disclosed that he has always believed in the Nigerian international despite the injury that has kept him unfit for long.

Celestine Babayaro scored the only goal in their 1-0 win against Middlesbrough after firing home a shot from Zola’s pass to signal his return to action.

With this result, Chelsea are now placed 3rd in the table with 5 and 6 points behind Liverpool and Arsenal respectively.
