English giants, Manchester United are worried about the injury that befell central defender, Rio Ferdinand, in their match against Bayer Leverkusen in Old Trafford on Wednesday.
Frequent scans and examinations has showed that the Manchester United’s record signing will be out for about three weeks, and this is likely to rule him out from their impending matches between two rivals, Liverpool and Arsenal.
The England defender has been excluded from their match between West Ham United on Sunday, and he is also not likely to start the second group stage of the Champions league.
Ferguson has to rely on either John O'Shea or West Brown as possible replacement for Ferdinand.
