Arsenal 0-0 PSV
Fri 15th November 2002, 14:08

Arsenal’s 0-0 draw with PSV Eindhoven was adequately sufficient to take them to the last 16 of the Champions’ league.

Arsenal who started with a straight 3-straight win, were highly threatened for a place in the 2nd phase when they lost to both their German and French opponents, Borussia Dortmund and Auxerre respectively. A 0-0 draw with PSV gave them a well deserved 10 points from 6 matches to leave them topping the table with Dortmund second to them.

Arsenal will be desperate to consolidate this fit, when them play home to Tottenham this weekend in a Premiership clash. Players like Thierry Henry, Nwankwo Kanu, and Fredrick Ljunberg will be perilously anxious to fortify their goal scoring proficiency.
