Wilkinson may not buy players

Sunderland manager Howard Wilkinson may not sign new players for the club when the transfer market reopens in January 1 next year.
Wilkinson is currently conscious of their present position in the league and this however worsen after their 2-1 loss at Southampton on Saturday.
The Black Cats are now third-to-the-last in the table, a point behind rivals, Bolton who drew 0-0 with Everton the same day.
Wilkinson told reporters that the squad could even be reduced than bolstered and that there is not a lot of money to buy a many players. In order words, if Wilkinson is to buy players, it will be few players and not much. |
