A unnamed player in England has been has been tested positive for Nandrolone.

The incident has occurred in the last 3 months and the Fa haven’t given out a lot of information.

PFA boss Gordon Taylor said ''The test is positive but it could be positive because of other treatments being taken ''
"It's ironic because this season with all the problems in Europe, particularly with the Dutch international team, we've put out warnings and circulars to all our members.

"There's a lot of these products on the market now, muscle-building stuff, a lot from America where they don't clearly indicate the ingredients, and that's why we're asking all players to double-check."

Players such as Jaap Stam and Edgar Davids have been tested positive for this drug. The former Manchester United defender Jaap Stam has warned the player with the latest drugs scandal.

"My reputation was in tatters as the tag 'drug cheat' was attached to my name in headlines around the world.

"Of course, people will say there is no smoke without fire and my image could be tainted for the rest of my life.

"That will always hurt but I will continue to fight to prove that I was an innocent man."

If this unnamed player is found guilty he could have a ban up to a year.
