Arsenal lanky striker Nwankwo Kanu has trashed the stories saying he wants to leave the club due to his irregular place at Highbury.
The Nigerian international admitted that when he hears news referencing the fact that he wants to leave the Premiership champions, he laughs.
The 26-year-old who has been out of action for the past weeks, was entered the Champions league clash with Ajax at the 84th minute.
And according to Arsenal's official website, Kanu indicated this:
"When you don't see me playing people try to make up things," he said. "I don't really know where the stories come from. But I have been injured and all I have in my mind is just to play.
"So as soon as I'm 100 per cent and I'm happy with my fitness, then I will be ready to play. When I see all the stories I start laughing because I know myself and I believe in myself.
"But Arsenal are a big club and our aim is to win the Champions League and the Premiership. It's going to be history if we do that and I truly believe we can. If you're in a team like this you want to win those things and be part of it", he added.
