Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier has blasted the ongoing pre-judgements on midfielder Steven Gerrard following his two-footed tackle on Everton player Gary Naysmith during both sides' Premiership clash last Sunday at Anfield.
Houllier also criticised Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger for passing an opinion before disciplinary proceedings, saying he was disappointed at Wenger's quote.
The tactician also indicated that he would lay his support for Gerrard all the way and that Steve's action on Gary wasn't deliberate.
Furthering more words from Houllier, he stated that, the referee and the linesman were there and that they didn't do anything so it is unfair for the FA to make an example of a high-profile player like Gerrard.
