Hoddle aims at Europe
Submitted By Ndubuisi on Sunday 23rd February 2003

Manager Glenn Hoddle remarked that he doesn't feel any more pressure to take Tottenham Hotspur to Europe due to the club's current form in the Premiership.

Hoddle feels if Spurs would grab a UEFA Cup place, they should start working hard by taking all their matches seriously, as it is just 11 games left.

The former England boss thinks they would have been playing in the UEFA Cup this season if they hadn't lost to Blackburn Rovers in the Worthington Cup final. And he thinks his boys are more than ready to grab a UEFA Cup place this season, despite their injury worries.

According to Hoddle, the next two games against West Ham and Fulham are vital, and they want to start planning from there.

Meanwhile, against the Cottagers, Hoddle will be without key players, in persons of Irishman Robbie Keane, Christian Ziege, Jamie Redknapp and Christ Perry.
