Liverpool striker Emile Heskey is suspected to be down with injury after Liverpool's 2-0 defeat at Charlton on Saturday.
Tests and scans showed that the England international is down with a groin injury as he was replaced by John Arne Riise in the 35th minute of the game.
It was also indicated that Heskey is doubtful for Liverpool's UEFA Cup second leg tie with Vitesse Arnhem on Thursday, though Liverpool have a 1-0 advantage in the first leg.
With this development, Gerard Houllier might be in a confused state on which player to replace Heskey, as both Bruno Cheyrou and Patrik Berger are also down with injuries.
