Fabrice Fernandes yesterday, rescued his side Southampton from loosing to Premiership strugglers Leeds United following his late-minute equaliser from an accurately taken free kick 35-yard away from goal.
Harry Kewell bagged his ninth goal of the season after putting Leeds ahead in the 74th minute, but Leeds who are now known for conceding late minute goals lost concentration when it mattered most.
After great happiness following their win over co-strugglers Bolton Wanderers last weekend, they just couldn't consolidate their winning run over Beattie's oriented side.
With this draw, Leeds are still left trying to get back their winning form while Southampton just have to compliment the effort to their match-saviour Fernandes. |
