Ferguson: Giggs was dropped due to injury

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that winger Ryan Giggs is injured; hence he was dropped in United's 3-1 away win over West Brom.
The tactician blasted criticisms that he deliberately dropped Giggs, while disclosing that the Welshman was dropped because he was suffering from a hamstring strain.
Ferguson also gave reference to the match, saying he was surprise with the early lead of West Brom, but due to the good start of his boys, they eventually won.
On the other hand, Ferguson's quest to reduce the gap between them and Arsenal was a mere affair, as the Gunners yesterday went away to defeat Birmingham City 4-0 to re-engross the gap to 5.
