Blackburn Rovers manager Graeme Souness has blasted hints that they are about to sell inspirational midfielder Damien Duff as soon as the transfer window is reopened.
Souness made a clear and brief disclosure that the Republic of Ireland international is going nowhere and that this is the time the club need him most.
Although, it was alleged that Duff has been linked to several clubs who have showed interest in the 23-year-old star, but Rovers are keen to decline any offer from any club.
Rovers are currently placed 10th position in the league table, and Souness admitted that his present concentration is on how to move up the table and not to sell an important player like Duff.
