Tottenham Hotspur player Stephen Clemence is on his way to join Birmingham City, meanwhile the reopening of the transfer market lasts.
It is alleged that the Blues are bidding a £250,000 fee on the midfielder, though there are hints that it may increase to £900,000 depending on the situation.
It was also noticed that Blues have also placed a £1.3million fee on 27-year-old Jamie Clapham and if things work out well, Blues will be on a double transfer shrink.
The Blues manager Steve Bruce has already signed Bordeaux's French striker Christophe Dugarry and Lens defender Ferdinand Coly.
Birmingham will face defending champions and present league leaders Arsenal come January 12 in an all-important Premiership tie.
