Carew: Owen Is A Diver

Valencia striker John Carew has stated that Liverpool Striker Michael Owen is a diver.
The attack has come from John Carew who last season was about to move to Fulham before the move collapsed. Carew has said this just before the game tonight between Liverpool and Valencia at Anfield.
But Carew rapped: "Owen is a player who has a lot of desire, is quick and skilful but also theatrical with his dives.
"He's certainly not the best striker in Europe. In Spain there are better forwards than him, our Pablo Aimar for example.
"I'm very keen to score against Liverpool because I get on well against English teams. Just ask Arsenal or Leeds."
Liverpool who lost 2-0 to Valencia in the opening group game after a master class performance by the Spanish champions.
Norwegian Carew added: "Liverpool disappointed me. If we play well we'll win for sure. Position for position, Valencia are the better side."
