Birmingham managing director Karren Brady has overtly indicated his disappointed with the intention of not-needed player Tommy Mooney to leave the club when his contract expires.
The striker has been told he is not in the plans of the club, but Mooney maintains he will see out his contract and he shouldn't be forced to leave the club.
However, Mooney is currently at Sheffield United on a loan deal.
But Brady thinks the former Watford player is holding the club to ransom, while referencing the fact that Mooney is concerned with money.
He said, "We've offered him a free transfer, we've subsidised his wages and we are prepared to pay him something, but we will not be paying up his contract in full and that's our final stand on the matter".
