Bowyer charged by UEFA

Leeds United midfielder Lee Bowyer has been charged by UEFA officials following his action on Malaga player Gerardo in their 2-1 UEFA Cup loss at Elland Road.
Lee Bowyer is alleged to have stamped Gerardo on the head after been previously booked in the second half by referee Massimo Busacca.
UEFA has now initiated a disciplinary action on the midfielder for unsporting behaviour and further actions awaits the disciplinary committee.
Bowyer may face suspension or a possible fine or the normal three match ban for offences if found guilty.
The prospecting ban may see Bowyer missing some European and Premiership tie for Leeds United.
