It was a well-deserved point for bottom-table battlers Bolton Wanderers following their goalless draw with high-flying Everton at Goodison Park.
Hence they bagged their first clean sheet since September 11.
It was also a remarkable engrossment of records, as Sam Allardyce's boys who have been known for considering at least a goal in every game terminated their fantasy with respect to their goalless draw with Everton.
After the match, Everton manager David Moyes was left to praise forward Wayne Rooney for his fighting spirit to get Everton a goal.
It was an encouraging result for Bolton especially as they move away from the bottom-three, thanks to their 4-3 abasement of Bobby Robson's Newcastle.
