It has been disclosed by manager Claudio Ranieri that Chelsea will not sign new players when the transfer market opens in January in order not to create a change in the spirit of the team.
The Italian tactician whose side battle Southampton today has indicated that the current spirit and courage of his boys may be interfered if he brings new blood and that he believes in his players and in their capabilities.
Ranieri only summer signing was Enrique de Lucas from Spanish club Espanyol.
However, the Blues present position in the table is an evidential reference backing up the words of Ranieri. He is expected to prove more of it as his side face high-fighting Southampton in a match that would display a lot of skills and consistencies.
