Submitted By Ndubuisi on Monday 3rd February 2003

Premiership side Bolton Wanderers have signed 28-year-old striker Pierre-Yves Andre from French club Nantes on loan that will keep the player there till the end of the season.

It was a double-switch by Bolton boss Sam Allardyce, as he also signed 29-year-old centre-half Florent Laville from Lyon on loan until the end of the season.

The duo will try as much as possible to make a good performance in the Premiership in order for them to secure a permanent deal at Bolton when their loan expires.

It was noticed that the two Frenchmen made impressive trials at the Reebok Stadium before joining the club.

Allardyce, in the club's official website expressed his contentment with the two crucial signings, which was approved at the 11th-hour.

Even with the departure of Michael Ricketts, Bolton may have no problems.
